Here are a handful of sketches I made today, exploring my mime character. I've had to do a lot of learning to get to this stage. My aim is to have this guy fully worked out by May 3rd. Click the images for larger versions.

…..Ok, you’re back? Great wasn’t it? My friend Jason Tammemagi has written a very worthwhile post about how it really should be seen by more people. I won’t regurgitate Jason’s words here, so have a read of his post.

I don’t really understand why Disney aren’t promoting it much. Perhaps it’s because it’s not out in the US yet…..bafflingly it came out here in the UK first, with the US release not until July 15th!

Creative Logbook

Here’s a new addition to my life. I thought it might benefit me to keep track of what I do each day from an artistic point of view. I also thought that I would distil each day down to a simple green or red mark at the side of the page to denote either a good or a bad day; the idea being that I might be able to look back in time and see a pattern developing.

I also created a timetable to try to help me get things done throughout the week. I think it might help me to remove all choice over what to do each evening after work. That way hopefully I won’t spend hours procrastinating only to end up too tired to do anything.
