I’m getting slow at posting things again. Things are soooooo busy at work. I’m in there at 5:30 am most days! Anyway, here are a couple of things I doodled in the last couple of days; some anatomy studies (the shoulders were drawn from memory) and designs for my short film.

Progress in Anatomy

I thought I’d just post this as a record of my current anatomical knowledge.

I’ve known the anatomy of the head to a decent level for some months now, but I’m only now getting to grips with the rest of the body.

This was drawn from imagination, so it won’t be quite right I’m sure, but it’s a lot better than I have been able to do before. I have in my memory the general shape and placements of all the bones and muscles, so I need to get some practice locating them in the live model (or at least from photos).

EDIT:

Bloody hell! Satisfaction never lasts long does it?! Since posting this, I’ve noticed at least five big mistakes to do with muscle placement. How annoying!!
