Talk to the Face 'Cause the Hand Ain't There Yet

Ok, another update on my Christmas film...I'm still trying to work out what the characters will look like. In terms of faces, I have them pretty much as I want them now, but I'm struggling with the bodies. Here are some quick drawings of Père Fouettard that I did today. First, I sorted out the head:
Then I tried to fit a body to it:
Not quite satisfied with it, I tried doing some tiny doodles to try out some variations:
I'm still not there yet!
